The Megawatt Metric — 72 Hours Rubin Was Sold on Watts, Google-Nvidia Formed an Energy Alliance, and Onsemi Embedded Silicon

Kioxia's NAND pause — Kioxia halted planned NAND price hikes to prevent a demand slump. In the megawatt frame, NAND remains cold-tier while AI capex piles into GPU-HBM. Kioxia flinched because it saw the same signal Micron will address next week: data center budgets are being drawn on memory-per-GPU, not storage-per-server.

The 40-month equipment lead time — South Korean semiconductor equipment parts hit 40-month lead times. AVGO — Anthropic's status as Broadcom's biggest custom-silicon client validates the parallel-rack thesis. Broadcom's ASIC revenue is starting to compound off frontier lab commitments rather than hyperscaler internal projects alone.

MU — 9/23 print is the real megawatt test. HBM3E/HBM4 attach rates per Rubin unit will drive whether the 70% upside call has legs, or whether Kioxia's pause is a forward warning for the whole memory complex.
